Welding Wave is a deep neural network-based welding quality support system
designed to detect and classify the most common types of welding defects.
The research and development was supported by Flexman Robotics Kft. and
the Linde Gáz Magyarország Zrt. is expected to be on the market by the end of 2020.

The Welding Wave system is capable of analyzing complex welding problems using a deep neural network, making it more efficient than the applied rule-based inspection systems.
By analyzing the data extracted from the welding power supply through a universal measuring device, it helps the robotic welder operator to classify the quality of the seams.
The AI based system can be trained defect and site specific and learn contstantly.
Backend software helps with the transparent workpiece documentation and evaluation of the efficiency of robotic welder operators.
